ARMADA - ARMIN VAN BUUREN's Record Label

Music does more than just release music, listing artist management, DJ bookings, publishing, and music and events among its strengths.

The label currently has 13 different sub-labels representing every type of music from Trance to House. "It's not that it's important to have many different genres under one umbrella," Maykel explains, "It's just important to be able to release quality music. It basically means we can release a house track or a techno track - whatever - if we love it, then we have the opportunity to release it."

Armada's smooth approach to combining everything music related in one company has attracted several top names to the label; Markus Schulz, Remy, M.I.K.E., Perry O'Neil, Mischa Daniels, Nick K and StoneBridge are all responsible for the A&R activities of their own label within Armada Music, while Armin himself deals with A&R activities for Armind and A State Of Trance.

The Armada stable is also a formidable force in the events arena, hosting its own stages at widely known events. The Armada Night is also a firm fixture on the Ibiza calendar - this summer you can catch Armada every Tuesday at Amnesia with weekly resident Armin van Buuren alongside other DJs from the label. Armada Nights in Holland are legendary, where they frequently rock venues like a.o. Melkweg and Ocean Diva.

Their mission statement is simple: "We love music! We want to keep doing what we're doing, to continue releasing great music and ensuring people leave our parties with a big smile on their face."
