The Mole

For the last few years The Mole has been trying to translate his experience in clubs and parties into a sound that is at once reflective, inspired by all the great music that has moved him (and so many others), and personal. Deepness is of the essential for The Mole, taking his cue as much from Moodymann as from Larry Levan and Ron Hardy. Being a vinyl obsessive or black crack addict, djing has completely reshaped this Montrealer's life. And finally after taking and learning so much from this worldwide vinyl community, he is finally ready to give a little back. The Mole has been a regular performer at Mutek where he continues to push the boundaries.

The Mole has released sides, songs, remixes and/or loops on Itiswhatitis, Starbass, his own label Nextdoor, Tuning Spork, Complot, Telegraph, Mutek, Textone and Epsilon lab. He has upcoming releases on Revolver, Philpot, and Citysport .

For Arbutus 001, The Mole digs down deep and comes up with “The Touch” a slow and smokey chugger that is set to devastate dancefloors everywhere. The tension slowly builds and builds to a devastating breakdown and then drops back in with huge presence. Swirling effects and the vocal chant, “The Touch” keep the dancer deep into the groove. A huge Huge tune.
