In 1992, Chris Anderson with his then-partner Andrei Morant, created The Matrix Crew, Texas’ most legendary rave production crew. Chris and Andrei went on to start producing tracks together for Labworks in Germany, as well as releasing several white labels of their own. Their hard funky acid house remix of “Thud” by The Syndicate got them attention from several UK DJs, garnering play from Billy Nasty on BBC Radio One.
